Established in 2012, the Amador Alliance for Arts Education is an official “Arts Now Ambassador” with the California Alliance for Arts Education (artsed411.org) and was the third alliance in the state to facilitate the adoption of the Declaration for Equity in Arts Learning by the Amador County Unified School District (ACUSD) Board of Trustees in January of 2018. Working with the tried and true approaches of the California Alliance for Arts Education, the Amador Alliance for Arts Education was instrumental in the creation and adoption of the ACUSD District Arts Plan and in the allocation of $195,000 LCAP Funds for arts education K-12.
This program is supported in-part by the California Arts Council, a state agency. Find out more at arts.ca.gov If you want to ensure that Amador County continues to get the state art council grant, click the Donate button at www.amadorarts.org.
