AMADOR COUNTY CA–On Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 10am, Amador Alliance for Arts Education will hold its annual meeting, virtually in ZOOM. The event is open to citizens of ALL AGES who want to actively participate in advocating for arts education in Amador County schools.
Meghan Joy “mojo” O’Keefe, Lead of the Alliance since 2017, will host this online opportunity for citizens to sign up for advocacy activities, co-learn advocacy approaches, and update each other on the state of arts education right here at home.

Established in 2012, the Amador Alliance for Arts Education is an official “Arts Now Ambassador” with the California Alliance for Arts Education (artsed411.org) and was the third alliance in the state to facilitate the adoption of the Declaration for Equity in Arts Learning by the Amador County Unified School District (ACUSD) Board of Trustees in January of 2018. Working with the tried and true approaches of the California Alliance for Arts Education, the Amador Alliance for Arts Education was instrumental in the creation and adoption of the ACUSD District Arts Plan and in the allocation of $195,000 LCAP Funds for arts education K-12.
