UCCE Central Sierra: 4-H Youth Development Project Series

The University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) Central Sierra servers Amador, Calaveras, El Dorado, and Tuolumne counties. 4-H Youth Development is a program of UCCE which is America’s largest youth development organization empowering youth to learn skills that will stay with them for a lifetime. 4-H offers educational learning experiences where young people (ages 5 years to 19 years old) can learn by doing.

To help youth and teens continue learning during these times of COVID our 4-H Program Representatives have put together seven (7) Multicounty Virtual 4-H Project Series. Using 4-H curriculum, the following projects will be offered starting in late August, September, and October: Beginning 4-H, Cooking 101, Food Preservation, Mindful Health, Experiencing Mindfulness, Money Talks, and Outdoor Adventures.

Money Talks starts first on August 17. There is a one-time fee required for enrollment in unlimited projects during the July 2020-June 2021 program year.
