AmadorArts Call for Artists: HeART of Hope Art Show

The Amador County Arts Council, aka AmadorArts, in partnership with the Amador County Department of Behavioral Health and the Amador Coalition for Suicide Prevention, is proud to announce HeART of Hope—an art show celebrating the Wellness Arts that keep us well during challenging and chaotic times.

Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, El Dorado Counties and Worldwide, artists of all skill levels, all media, and all ages are welcome to submit works in the visual and literary arts that reflect hope, perseverance, and awareness of mental health and wellness.

From August 17 to September 11, this will be both a see-it-in-person normal exhibit with limited capacity at any one time, and it will be online. Pieces must be delivered by Monday, August 10th, 2020 to Amador County Arts Council, ready to hang/present, and with no exposed jagged edges or glass. No fee to enter show. Please note that the new location of AmadorArts is at the Amador Senior Center, 229 New York Ranch Rd., Jackson, a spacious and artful space, accessible, with plenty of level free parking.

Artists may include artist bio and statement, maximum 500 characters. Works may be for sale, with a suggested donation to Amador County Arts Council. Artwork, signed gallery form, along with bio and statement must be delivered to the Amador County Arts Council no later than August 10th.  Questions can be directed to Program Coordinator, Alyssa Vargas at
