AWA Thanks Motherlode Mask Makers

SUTTER CREEK, CA - Motherlode Mask Makers in Plymouth today donated a supply of their home-sewn face masks for Amador Water Agency employees.

AWA Purchasing Agent Paul Dalmau reached out to Motherlode Mask Makers founder Sara Lee to respond to the public health advisory notice recommending masks for personal and community protection.

Lee met AWA Interim General Manager John Kingsbury in Plymouth this morning with a "starter” supply of masks for AWA office and field staff.

“Keeping our customers, employees and their families healthy and providing safe reliable drinking water is our top priority,” said Kingsbury.

Kingsbury was happy to make a personal donation of $120.00 to the sewing group, which will be making more masks for the rest of AWA staff and families, to reduce their exposure risk of the virus.

Can you sew? The Motherlode Mask Makers Facebook page has information on sewing masks and supporting the organization.
