UCCE Master Gardeners: Introduction to Vegetable Gardening in the Foothills - Sat Feb 1

Growing your own vegetables can be fulfilling and downright tasty!  Learn what vegetables grow well in the foothills and how best to care for them.  Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for their free Public Education class, “Introduction to Vegetable Gardening in the Foothills” on Saturday, February 1, 2020. The many micro-climates, in the foothills, challenge gardeners with variations in temperature, water needs, soil quality and pests. This class will provide a great basis for planning and cultivating a productive and vibrant vegetable garden.

Handouts will be provided. This class is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required. All classes are held in the GSA Building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9 a.m. until Noon.
