January at Sutter Creek Provisions

What a year that was!

2019 was a busy year here at Provisions...58 concerts, a few hundred kegs, close to 50 different Provisions Pantry menus...what a great time it was.

We're jumping right into January with an incredible month of live music. The beer selection continues to evolve, and Tim is still cranking out amazing flavors and dishes from the Pantry.

Scroll down to see the artists and bands scheduled to appear, take a minute to listen and watch the video... maybe even follow them on your favorite music service if you like what you hear.

We'll be excited to see you at the shows!

John Courage
$10 Cash

John Courage has been honing his skills as a songwriter, guitarist and producer for over 10 years in the music communities of Northern California, with stints in the Pacific Northwest and the high desert of Santa Fe, New Mexico. With a flair for vintage inspired rock and roll that takes cue from the Texas singer songwriter scene of the 70's, John Courage creates a sound that at once feels familiar yet urgent.
New styles blossom and are assimilated into the songbook, and currently John Courage performs as a solo songwriter, or a raucous, guitar driven trio or quartet.
With four self produced full length albums to his credit, and guitar credits on many other records, along with touring work on bass and lead guitar, John Courage now expands into the role of producer with the addition of Gremlintone Studios, a fledgling analog based production focusing on live recording.

The Easy Leaves Duo

The Easy Leaves are very top of the Country heap here in San Francisco, headlining and filling big rooms (Great American Music Hall, The Independent, Mystic Theatre), main stage set at last year's Outside Lands Festival (Willie Nelson told them 'We should play together again'!), CMT premieres their videos ... But more to the point, they write, record, and perform incredible songs. Songs that are meticulously crafted, and have great capabilities of (just plain) moving people. Under the guidance of Merle Haggard's music, and countless other important poets, The Easy Leaves have written their own great collection of poetry for the common man.

Rob Leines
$10 CASH

Rob Leines' music originated in the Southeast within the Appalachian Mountains.  With the influence of Country, Rock and Roll, and Blues, his unique Americana sound was born on the hills of Tennessee.  Soon after Leines expanded to the west. While welding and metal working for the oil and gas industry along the pacific coast, Rob's music took on a more raw and gritty side. The blue collar lifestyle and southern roots make for a genuine representation of the American songwriter through his music.  The Rob Leines Band is a fresh sound, with a rowdy charisma and attitude that country rock needs.

Nick Foster
Free Show

From the Foothills of Northern California come Nick Foster; a singer/songwriter and one man band. Painting aural landscapes under melodic storytelling, his classic yet original Folk sound is based around timeless lyrics, acoustic guitar, dancing harmonica and ear-burrowing melodies. Nick's voice has been described as a haunt of Neil Young. His feet operate a 70's Ludwig kick drum, a snare drum and tambourine, creating life-giving rhythms. These stories are told over delicate fingerpicking, powerful percussive strumming or a sweet spot in between. Simplicity in the song is a striking point with Nicks songwriting, hoping to deliver something every audience can take home.

His influences stem from Neil Young, John Prine, Ryan Adams, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, The Tallest Man on Earth, City and Colour, Lord Huron, Iron and Wine...
