AmadorArts Needs You!

If you have a passion for the arts and long to be active as a volunteer participant, the Amador County Arts Council is recruiting interested community members to serve on the Board of Directors to continue its 37-year legacy.

The Amador County Arts Council, also known as AmadorArts, is a non-profit public benefit organization with the mission to Encourage, Support, and Promote the Arts in Our Schools and Community.

The arts in Amador are a resource, much like timber, water, wine and tourism that contribute to our local economy.  An unusually large number of professional visual, performing and literary artists make their home here, and through the years AmadorArts has been the catalyst to link local citizens of all ages, tourists, and businesses with the arts community.

AmadorArts, which receives funding from a variety of donors an
d grants, is currently recruiting volunteer members to the Board of Directors to continue to lead the organization forward for many more years of successful service to our community.  The Board meets regularly once a month.
