On Wednesday, November 6, at the Amador Senior Center, 229 New York Ranch Road in Jackson, the Amador Branch of AAUW will present the documentary, RBG. This film reveals the exceptional life and career of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who has been a powerful advocate for gender equality and whose early legal battles changed the world for women.
Doors open at 5:30 pm and the movie starts at 6:00 p.m. The Hon. Andrea C. Sexton, Amador County Court Commissioner will make some comments about her role and our Amador County judicial system. If time allows, you might learn some new facts about the Supreme Court through a group quiz The cost is $5 for AAUW members and $8 for the public. Popcorn is included. All are welcome.
