The 3rd Annual Sutter Creek Heritage Day is a FREE event celebrating the rich history of Sutter Creek and the Gold Rush. Take a ride on a real Stage Coach, pan for Gold, tour the Historic Knight Foundry and witness all of the 1800’s machinery at work. Plus many other historic venues rarely open to the public, will be available to tour with docents inside to answer your questions and tell you the history of that location. Pick up your free map at any location, or start at the Sutter Creek Visitor Center at 71 Main Street and experience what it might have been like to be in Sutter Creek during the Gold Rush! Event runs from 10 – 4pm on Sunday, Sept 22.
Love wine? Then the Wine on 49 Harvest Festival is perfect for you. Enjoy an afternoon of wine tasting with farm to fork pairings, live music, local vendors and a special speaker series - including national acclaimed poet Jeff Knorr and Tracey Berkner of Taste Restaurant.
