"Art and creativity have always played a big part in my life and was encouraged by my family. I majored in Art in college with concentrations in watercolor, printmaking and graphics (pre-computer age) but it wasn't until just recently, in 2016, that I was able to dedicate myself more fully to Art.
The medium of watercolor with its translucency and immediacy still gives me a feeling of mystery in the making. I'm inspired by the light and color I see all around me and lately I've been inspired by oceans and sea life, especially jellyfish, and my intent is to impart that sense of wonder and joy through my paintings."

Here is what we need: hot coffee and tea vendor, produce vendors, artists, massage therapist, food to-go, cottage food vendors, or other businesses geared towards natural, sustainable and organic living. Join our community and encourage healthy living. The Mother Lode Exchange is a year-round, indoor farmer's market, open every Wed and Sat, 11am-3pm.

THIS WEEK'S RECIPE:
Lemon Marmalade Chicken
(Gayla Chepourkoff - Resonance of Light)
(local and organic when you can)
You can use any kind of jam you like. Meyers Lemon is always good, but apricot is very tasty too.
4 chicken breasts 1/2 cup Meyers Lemon marmalade (from Casa de la Pradera) 1/2 cup chicken broth Salt and pepper to taste Herbs to taste
Rub chicken with salt and pepper and grill, broil or roast until cooked. In the meantime, heat broth, marmalade and additional salt and pepper (if desired) in a pan until blended. Pour sauce over cooked chicken and serve
If you dont have Meyers Lemon, use what you have. Plum is good too!
