Gold Country Lanes: Junior Bowling Scholarship Leagues begin September 7

Gold Country Lanes is seeking youth bowlers for Saturday Scholarship Leagues. Since 2016, Gold Country Lane youth bowlers have accumulated over $15,000  in college scholarship money.  Funds are held in a trust account by the United States Bowling Congress.  After high school graduation, scholarship dollars may be used at any college, university or trade school for up to six years.  The younger your bowler starts, the more opportunities they will  have to earn and save scholarship money!

The Saturday Bumper Jumpers league is for children three to nine years old. They bowl two games per week, and receive coaching.  The cost is $9 per week, and all bowlers earn end of season scholarships.

The Prospectors league is open to junior bowlers seven years and older.  Just like the Bumper Jumpers, all Prospectors earn end of the season scholarships, but they bowl three games per week for $9.  Both leagues will begin September 7 at 10:30 am.

In addition to Saturday, Gold Country Lanes offers two family bowling leagues on Friday nights, the Family Bumper Bandits for children three to nine years and the Family Blasters for older youth bowlers.  Just like Saturday leagues, the youth bowlers on Friday nights will also earn end of the season scholarship money.

Sign up by visiting Gold Country Lanes, or register under “youth leagues” at GoldCountryLanes.com.
