AmadorArts: TGIF concert in Pioneer features Warm Charlie - Fri Aug 2

The free T.G.I.F concert presented by AmadorArts on Friday, August 2 at 6:00 pm in Pioneer will be The Warm Charlie Band, a high energy rock band in the style of the 80’s. Each member has 25+ years’ experience in the music industry. Wayne Chittenden, bass guitar/vocals, and Charlie Rice as lead guitar/vocals originally created the band and are totally excited to have Rachel Andrews as lead/backup vocals and Keith White on drums.

All the musicians play a part in the composing of their music, but they recently added some traditional country cover songs to their list like: Redneck Woman, You Belong With Me, Fishin’ in the Dark, Girl Crush to name a few. Their rock cover songs consist of: Zombie, Your Love, Livin’ After Midnight and Man in the Box. And to throw in a little pop: Beat It. They have performed at the California State Fair, Sactown Sports Bar & Grill, PJ’s Roadhouse, 2nd Generation Fundraiser and many more venues.

The venue of this TGIF concert in Pioneer is the Mollie Joyce Park. From Highway 88, turn on Carson Drive opposite the Post Office. Then turn left on Woodfern Drive, and the park will be on your left at 23922. Located on 7 wooded acres the newly renovated park offers a ballfield, snack bar, restrooms, tennis courts, and disc golf course. Check it out! AmadorArts reminds you to bring your folding chairs, picnics, and maybe mosquito repellent.
