@ 12pm-Gage Kerrigan, certified herbalist, will give a detailed presentation on Picking Wild and Local Salads, identifying local edible plants that grow right in your back yard.
@ 1:30pm-Dixie Lee Norkoli, certified herbalist, will be presenting an introduction to Lifestyle Medicine and the Herbal Connection, a fun way to use food and herbs as your medicine.
@ 11am-2pm-The ACRA/ACRD Community Garden, also located on the Chichizola/Cuneo property, is having a plant sale!

THIS WEEK'S RECIPE!
It's RADISH season here in Amador County, CA. Here is a recipe for yummy, crunchy radish chips.
Roasted Salt & Pepper Radish Chips
(organic and local when you can)
coconut oil (
melted) or olive oil
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Thinly slice radishes or use a mandolin, place in a bowl.
Toss with oil.
Lay radishes onto two baking sheets, don't overlap.
Whisk the salt and pepper together then sprinkle over the slices.
Bake for 12-15 minutes.
