Do you enjoy growing grapes in your own vineyard, but you’re not sure how to prune them? Thinking of trying a few grafts to vary or improve your grapes? Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for a Public Education class on Saturday, March 9, 2019 for information, guidance and experience. This will be a hands-on, interactive class. Both spur and cane pruning will be demonstrated and practiced. Bring your bypass pruning shears and learn how to prune under Master Gardener supervision. Grape grafting will also be covered. Handouts will be provided. The class is from 9 a.m. until Noon. It is free and open to the public.
This class is not being held in the GSA Building in Jackson. It will be offsite. Please call 223-6838 or email firstname.lastname@example.org after February 23, 2019 for the location. Please leave your name and the number attending and the Master Gardeners will contact you with directions.
