Jackson Lions Club: Annual Dandelion Days Street Fair - Mar 16-17

Downtown Jackson will overflow with antiques and crafts, live music, pancake breakfast, kids’ carnival and food booths, Saturday and Sunday, March 16 – 17, 2019, 8 am – 5 pm, rain or shine.
New this year in recognition of Dandelion Days’ origins, the Wells Fargo Bank parking lot will be dedicated to Yard Sale vendors for household items, collectibles, and “junque,” at a reduced fee.

·         The Lions Club will hold a Pancake Breakfast, starts at 7 am both mornings at the Jackson Civic Center, 33 Broadway, $7/person, kids 12 & under, $5.
·         Live music stages, sponsored by the National Hotel and Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort, will be in Petkovich Park and in the Logan’s Alley Beer & Wine Garden (by the creek next to the National Hotel). BANDS & MUSIC SCHEDULE BELOW
·         Food booths and the kids carnival will be set up between Petkovich Park and the Ledger Dispatch office.
·         New this year:  The Wells Fargo parking lot will be dedicated to "Yard Sale" booths as in the early days of the event - used household items, tools, furniture, and more.  Only $50/space! Vendor application at: jacksonlionsclub.org.
·         People attending the event are encouraged to bring used eyeglasses and hearing aids to donate to the Lions Club, and can also bring other items that support charitable causes such as used printer cartridges and pull tabs. Donation table will be near the Lions Club Trailer.
·         Bunsen to Beakers 5K (not a Jackson Lions Club event) benefits science programs at Jackson schools. Race start is at 8 am, Detert Park Scout Hut. For registration forms or info, contact Dan Klement at danklement1@gmail.com
·         Free parking with shuttle to Main Street is available at the Amador County Administration Building, 810 Court Street and the Sutter Hill Transit Center, 115 Valley View Way,Sutter Creek. ·         Jackson Main Street and portions of Water Street and Broadway near Petkovich Park will be closed to thru traffic from 5 pm, Friday, 3/15 until Sunday, 3/17, approx. 7 pm.
