Los Angeles Band Takes the Stage in Sutter Creek
Music renaissance continues in Amador’s Wine Country
Saturday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. Los Angeles based band Davey and the Midnights take the stage at Feist Wines in downtown Sutter Creek. This intimate venue hosts Grammy award winners and local talent alike. Feist, Sutter Creek Provisions and the Sutter Creek Theatre offer top notch music with regularity. The Wine on 49 wineries in Sutter Creek produce two festivals a year which highlight great bands and solo artists. Sutter Creek has become a mecca for musical talent.
Los Angeles Davey and the Midnights combine traditional country, blues, and psychedelia to create an eclectic highway sound in the vein of Gram Parsons, JJ Cale, and the Grateful Dead. Ironically Feist Wines owner Susan Feist is also a native Los Angeles .
Feist offers farm to fork wood fired pizza, artisan cheeses, charcuterie and wine. The winery produces small lot, boutique wines.
“I feel thankful for all of the talent that walks through the door.” says owner Susan Feist. The venue books acts on the road as well as the best local bands in the region.
