AmadorArts: Amador Poetry Out Loud Finals - Mon Feb 11

Due to the weather and the subsequent closing of Amador District-wide schools closed on Monday, February 4, the new date set for the 2019 Poetry Out Loud local final has been rescheduled for Monday, February 11, starting promptly at 6:00 pm. It will still be in the Jackson Amador County Library.  Once again, although the event is free, you are asked to register in advance due to space limitation at the library. Go to: www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3919344to signup and your name will be at Will Call the day of the event.
As a reminder, Poetry Out Loud is an effort by high school students on poetry
memorization, recitation, and performance.  After the presentations, and while
the judges tally their ballots, the audience will be treated to six Pioneer
School elementary students reciting poems, as well as Amador Poet Laureate
Kat Everitt spotlighting some of her works. Refreshments will be served.
