More Americana in an Up and Coming Music Town
SUTTER CREEK, CA - Saturday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. Los Angeles based Americana outfit takes the stage at Feist Wines in Sutter Creek. This downtown tasting room hosts local and touring musicians in an intimate venue.
The have worked over a decade to master a sound that's reminiscent of all their inspirations - blues, Americana, and country yet wholly unique. Brothers John and Ted Siegel spend their days perfecting records at a handmade studio in the hills of the Mulholland Drive that overlooks Los Angeles. The have had their music played on both CMT and MTV.
“There’s a little bit of tension and competition that makes it so that we write well. I’ll write a whole host of songs and I’ll run them by my brother, and he’s a very honest strict critic.” says Ted Siegel, guitarist, singer, and songwriter.
The were formed while the brothers were still in high school. Ted has grown into one of the sharpest guitarists among the independent scene in Los Angeles today, while commanding drummer John has expanded his role in the group over the years to include harmonica work and vocal harmonies.
Feist offers small lot wine, farm to table wood-fired pizza, and charcuterie plates starting at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $5 general admission and are available at feistwines.com and at the door.
