Amador County Master Gardeners Present: “Bloomin’ in Amador County” - Sat Feb 23

With just a little “know how” you can enjoy flowers blooming in your garden and landscape throughout the year. Join the UCCE Master Gardeners of Amador County for their free Public Education class, “Bloomin’ in Amador County” on Saturday, February 23, 2019 for information on planning various types of colorful gardens suitable for local soils and microclimates.

Learn which plants to grow in order to insure year-round color in your garden as well as provide resources for beneficial insects inhabiting your landscape. The Master Gardeners will provide details on selection, care and maintenance of appropriate, colorful, annual and perennial flowering plants including succulents, shrubs and trees. Handouts will be available. The class is free and open to the public. No reservations are required. All classes are held in the GSA building at 12200-B Airport Rd. in Jackson from 9am to Noon.
